Italian dining concept Eataly will be featured on the MSC World Asia when it sets sail this December, MSC Cruises said in a statement.
The restaurant joins the lineup of more than 40 bars, lounges, cafés and restaurants on the upcoming ship.
Having recently completed its final sea trials, the MSC World Asia is scheduled for delivery on November 25, 2026.
“Exceptional food and hospitality are at the heart of the experience we create for our guests. Partnering with Eataly allows us to bring a renowned culinary brand to sea, offering guests an authentic dining experience that showcases the quality, tradition and passion that define Italian cuisine,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.
“Following the successful debut of Eataly onboard MSC World America, we look forward to bringing our guests in the Mediterranean a unique dining experience with an artfully created menu reflecting the global nature of MSC Cruises.”
The MSC World Asia will become the second ship in the MSC Cruises fleet to feature Eataly at sea, following the debut of the concept on the MSC World America last year.
MSC noted that the restaurant will offer a contemporary dining experience, with elegant design, an inviting ambience and a menu highlighting regional specialties and classic Italian dishes.
Show cooking will be central to the experience, with a dedicated table chef offering guests an encounter with Italian culinary craftsmanship.
Guests will also be able to dine on the restaurant’s terrace with ocean views, as well as enjoy a personalized visit to the wine cellar at The Terrace Bar where they can select their own bottle.
After its maiden voyage on December 4, the MSC World Asia will sail seven-night itineraries to Mediterranean destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta.
