MSC Cruises has revealed five new bars, lounges and concepts coming to the MSC World Asia, the third ship in the line’s World-class series.

This follows the recently announced spa and beauty experiences for the ship, which is set to debut in the Med in December.

As the ship will feature design elements inspired by Asia’s culture, art and landscapes, this will be reflected in the design of bars and lounges, each offering a distinct atmosphere and experience.

New additions include:

• Clubhouse and Soda Bar: Inspired by the nostalgia of the 1980s and 1990s, this venue will give guests a chance to create personalized “sodas,” choosing a base and adding cream, flavored syrups and toppings. By day, guests can enjoy MSC Cruises-themed games, interactive digital tables and challenges, while younger guests and families can explore the LEGO area and The Court with bumper cars. At evening, the space becomes a social hub with cocktails and mocktails.

• Sky Box Bar: Situated within the Luna Park Arena, this bar will offer premium drinks and unique cocktails. Drawing inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism, the cocktail menu will reimagine timeless favorites with a contemporary touch. Guests will be able to watch bartenders bring their creations to life through moments of mixology theater.

• The Terraces Bar & Lounge: This venue will feature panoramic sea views and give guests a chance to savor classic cocktails including Negroni and Aperol Spritz, alongside a selection of spritzes, wines and prosecco, complemented by traditional bites such as focaccia and olives. There will be live music indoors, as well as expert-led tasting sessions showcasing hand-picked local varieties and offering a taste of the destinations visited along the way.

• Coral Cove Bar: Located within Coral Cove Pool, Coral Cove Bar is inspired by a Philippine coral reef and offers a relaxed poolside retreat where guests can enjoy a selection of classic drinks. The space will provide an atmosphere to unwind and socialize throughout the day.

• Pan Asian Bar: Overlooking the Promenade, this bar and lounge forms part of the recently unveiled Pan Asian Street Food restaurant. It will offer Southeast Asian-inspired special cocktails and beverages, as well as beers from throughout Asia, and specially crafted at sea drought beer called “Oceanic Asian” with oriental notes.

Following its delivery in November, the MSC World Asia will offer seven-night sailings to Mediterranean destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta, starting December 4, 2026.

The cruise line recently changed the ship’s deployment for the Winter 2027–28 season, moving it to the South Caribbean, where it will offer seven- and 14-night itineraries with embarkation in Fort-de-France (Martinique), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), and Bridgetown (Barbados).
