MSC Cruises has announced updates for the Winter 2027–28 season, enriching deployment in key regions – the Western Mediterranean and South Caribbean.
This follows news that the MSC World Europa would take over itineraries that were initially scheduled for the new MSC World Asia.
Instead of a winter season in the Middle East, the MSC World Europa will offer seven-night itineraries in the western Mediterranean, with multiple embarkation ports, the cruise line shared in a press release.
The ship will call to a mix of destinations, including Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Genoa (Italy), Civitavecchia (Italy), Messina (Italy) and Valletta (Malta).
Debuting in the Med in December, the MSC World Asia will sail in the South Caribbean in Winter 2027–28, instead of operating seven-night cruises to Spain, France, Italy and Malta announced by the cruise line last month.
The ship will offer seven- and 14-night itineraries with embarkation in Fort-de-France (Martinique), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), and Bridgetown (Barbados).
Ports of call include Castries (Saint Lucia), St. George’s (Grenada), Philipsburg (St. Maarten), St. John’s (Antigua and Barbuda), Basseterre (Saint Kitts and Nevis), Roseau (Dominica) and Kingstown (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines).
The cruise line noted guests booked on the MSC World Europa in the Middle East for Winter 2027–28 and their travel partners are being contacted directly and provided with information regarding their options, including the possibility to move their booking to another sailing or request a full refund.
Guests booked on the MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or the MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean for Winter 2027–28 will see their bookings updated and will be contacted directly about any individual changes.
