MSC has announced that the MSC World Asia will offer guests a sanctuary for relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing at sea with the 1,260m² MSC Aurea Spa.
Georg Schmickler, senior vice president onboard revenues, MSC Cruises, said: “Wellness has become an increasingly important part of the travel experience, and our ambition with the MSC World Asia was to create a spa that rivals the finest wellness destinations on land.”
“By combining beautifully designed spaces, innovative therapies, advanced technologies and personalized experiences, we’ve created our most comprehensive wellness offering to date,” added Schmickler.
“Every aspect of the MSC Aurea Spa has been thoughtfully designed to help guests relax, recharge and leave feeling their very best.”
The company said in a press release that the ship features design elements that reflect Asian culture, art and landscapes.
She will offer seven-night sailings to Mediterranean destinations, including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta; from December 4, 2026.

The World Asia introduces a collection of advanced wellness therapies designed to support relaxation, recovery and overall wellbeing.
Treatments include:
- Dry Float Therapy by Starpool, which relieves muscular tension and promotes deep relaxation without getting wet
- Whole-Body Cryotherapy, supporting muscle recovery, circulation and reduced inflammation
- Iyashi Dôme Infrared Therapy, inspired by Japanese wellness traditions to encourage natural detoxification and relaxation, and
- LPG Endermologie, a treatment that stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production while helping smooth and firm the skin.

The press release said that wellness journeys begin with a personalized consultation.

The MSC Gym, powered by Technogym, features equipment, training spaces, group classes and personalized coaching.

The MSC World Asia’s Thermal Area features 12 immersive wellness experiences with the restorative benefits of heat, water and relaxation.

MSC said that guests can unwind in the Panoramic Sea-View Sauna, refresh in the Snow Room, and experience aromatic steam rooms, Finnish and bio saunas, a therapeutic Himalayan Salt Room, Japanese-inspired ganbanyoku beds, experience showers, whirlpools and relaxation lounges.
