MSC Euribia Arrives in UAE for First Season in Middle East

The MSC Euribia has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in late November for its winter season in the Middle East.

Sailing in the region for the first time, the MSC Cruises ship is scheduled to offer a series of cruises from Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Guests will also be able to embark in Doha for seven-night itineraries that sail to destinations in Qatar, the UAE and Bahrain.

In addition to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, the MSC Euribia is scheduled to visit Sir Bani Yas and Khalifa Bin Salman during its regular sailings in the region.

The deployment runs through late March 2025, when the vessel is scheduled to return to Northern Europe with no guests onboard.

After completing a summer deployment in Scandinavia and the North Sea, the MSC Euribia deadheaded to the Middle East in early November.

Due to security concerns in the Red Sea, the LNG-powered vessel sailed around the African continent on its way to Dubai.

As part of the repositioning voyage, the Euribia also made a technical visit to MSC’s Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal in Durban, South Africa.

Replacing Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas, which also made a technical call to the country, the vessel became the largest ever to visit South Africa.

Built by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France, the MSC Euribia entered service for MSC Cruises in June 2023.

Fifth in a series of ships that started with the MSC Meraviglia in 2017, the 177,100-ton ship has a capacity for over 4,800 guests.

Upon completing its 2025 summer season in Europe, the vessel is slates to return to the Middle East in 2025-26.

For its second deployment in the region, the ship sails from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha between early November 2025 and early April 2026.
