Sea Cloud Welcomes New Manager of Sales Services and Reservations

Austin Wright

Sea Cloud Cruises is welcoming Austin Wright as Manager of Sales Services & Reservations, the company announced in a press release.

In his role, Austin will support business growth by working closely with Sea Cloud Cruises North America President Mirell Reyes, who continues to expand the brand’s presence in the North American market.

“Austin’s expertise in the luxury and small-ship space is a welcomed addition to our South Florida-based team, as we nurture valued relationships with guests and the agent community,” said Mirell Reyes, president of Sea Cloud Cruises North America.

“His passion for hospitality and guest service is a welcomed addition to our growing team,” she added.

According to Sea Cloud, Wright brings a strong background in sales and guest services to the company, having previously held positions with cruise brands including American Queen Voyages, Silversea Cruises, Oceania Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line.

Expanding its operations in North America, Sea Cloud Cruises will offer a new itinerary to Florida and the Bahamas starting on March 26, 2025.

Taking place onboard the Sea Cloud Spirit, the nine-night cruise will sail roundtrip from Miami and include visits to Eleuthera, Exuma and Key West.

The sailing also offers an optional pre-cruise hotel stay at The Breakers Palm Beach and Brightline PREMIUM transfers.

Book author and historian Les Standiford will be onboard during the sailing as a special guest lecturer to share stories about Henry Flagler and Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Sea Cloud is also introducing four new itineraries departing from Puerto Rico as part of its 2024-25 season in the Caribbean.

The six- to eight-night cruises will take place onboard the Sea Cloud Spirit in January and feature overnight stays in ports such as St. Barts, Virgin Gorda and Norman Island.

According to the company, the operation was designed to provide passengers with flexibility, as Puerto Rico offers “robust airlift” and direct service from 20 gateways across North America.
