Bookings Open for Celebrity Xcite’s 2028 Debut, Joining 9 Caribbean Ships

  • November 3, 2026
Celebrity Xcite

Celebrity Cruises has opened bookings for the inaugural season of the Celebrity Xcite, the sixth ship in its Edge series.

The ship debuts in 2028, joining nine other Celebrity Cruises ships – Beyond, Eclipse, Ascent, Silhouette, Reflection, Apex, Constellation, Summit and Xcel – sailing to the Caribbean in what the brand describes as its most expansive Caribbean lineup yet.

The Xcite’s inaugural season will feature seven-night Caribbean vacations from Miami, with rotating itineraries taking guests to St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten and the Dominican Republic.

“The Caribbean is our guests’ favorite place to vacation. Whether it’s a long-awaited island getaway or a spontaneous weekend escape, we are creating new and fresh ways for guests to experience the region with Celebrity Cruises,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.

“With the debut of Celebrity Xcite, and more Edge Series ships in the Caribbean than ever before, our 2028 and 2029 season gives guests more ways to experience the destinations they love, paired with innovative design, elevated service, and unforgettable moments at sea that only Celebrity Cruises can deliver.”

Guests can book winter 2028-29 Caribbean sailings starting on November 3, 2026, with Summer 2028 itineraries opening on December 9, 2026.

Short Escapes

The Beyond will offer nine three-night weekend getaways from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas from November 2028 through March 2029, allowing guests to experience an Edge series ship on a short Caribbean getaway for the first time.

Guests will also enjoy new experiences, including Orange Peel Bar & Grille, Tacos del Sol, and Bora, debuting onboard in November 2026.

The Eclipse will offer weekend getaways from Fort Lauderdale, while the Summit will sail four- to five-night itineraries from Miami.

Select sailings will visit Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Longer Sailings

Eight- to 11-night sailings on the Beyond visit destinations including St. Kitts and Nevis, Martinique, Barbados, Saint Lucia and Antigua, and feature six journeys to the Panama Canal.

The Ascent will offer nine- to 12-night sailings to destinations including Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curaçao, Saint Lucia, Martinique, St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua and Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Eclipse will also sail from Fort Lauderdale on 11-night itineraries to destinations Celebrity describes as guest favorites.

On the Xcel, six- and eight-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale offer Southern Caribbean itineraries to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, as well as Western Caribbean itineraries to Mexico, Honduras and Grand Cayman.

Year-Round Sailings

The Celebrity Silhouette’s eight- to 12-night summer sailings include chances to visit the Southern Caribbean in the summer months, including destinations like Barbados, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Grenada.

After that, the Silhouette kicks off seven-night sailings departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico in October, featuring five port days every sailing and visiting destinations including St. Thomas, Antigua, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Barbados.

The Reflection, which is scheduled for a March 2027 refit, will continue to sail the Caribbean year-round, offering six- to eight-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.

In addition to this, the Apex will return to Cape Canaveral, offering Eastern Caribbean itineraries that visit destinations including the British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic and St. Maarten, and Western Caribbean itineraries that allow guests to experience Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Key West.

From Tampa, the Constellation will feature seven-night sailings to Key West, The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean.
