The Celebrity Reflection will see a significant capacity increase during its upcoming refurbishment in early 2027.

Cruise Industry News estimates that the 2012-built vessel will gain 59 additional staterooms during the planned drydock.

With the extra accommodations, the capacity of the 126,000-ton ship is expected to grow to nearly 3,150 passengers at double occupancy.

The new cabins will replace existing public areas, including parts of the Grand Foyer, which will make way for 17 extra staterooms.

The new outside cabins will replace the Passport Bar and the guest relations desk, which will be relocated elsewhere on Deck 5.

Celebrity is also adding 16 staterooms to Decks 11 and 12 by reducing the footprint of the ship’s current spa and fitness center.

The largest number of new cabins will be added to Deck 15, where 26 staterooms will replace youth areas, a basketball court and a video game arcade.

Announced in late July, the refit is part of a fleetwide enhancement program that will see all Solstice-class ships updated.

In addition to the new staterooms, the Reflection will feature updated entertainment and dining spaces, along with 13 new venues.

Among the new venues is the Celebrity Pool Club, which will offer two dedicated bars, as well as new poolside dining experiences.

The Reflection will also gain four new entertainment spaces, such as the 125-seat Boulevard Lounge for games, karaoke and live performances.

The Retreat, the vessel’s suite class, will have an enhanced sun deck with a large hot tub and a redesigned lounge.

Other notable changes include the expansion of the ship’s casino to an area currently occupied by a shopping gallery.

Celebrity has been expanding the capacity of its Solstice-class ships since early 2025, when the Celebrity Eclipse gained 10 additional staterooms during a routine drydock.

Earlier this year, Celebrity also added 54 extra staterooms to the Celebrity Solstice as part of a modernization effort.
