The Carnival Radiance completed a 15-day drydock in Seaspan shipyard in Victoria, Canada, welcoming first guests in Long Beach on Sunday, October 3.
According to a press release, the ship’s Effy jewelry boutique was upgraded and guest areas in the interior and open deck areas were refreshed.
The ship also got the “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest, which debuted on the Carnival Legend earlier this year.
Introduced in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary, the design is set to roll out across Carnival’s U.S. fleet during drydocks and newbuilds.
The exceptions are the Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Tropicale, coming in 2028, which will display the Texas star on their bows.
The Radiance now resumes year-round sailing from Long Beach, offering four- and five-day cruises to Baja Mexico and the Mexican Riviera, with visits to destinations including Ensenada and Catalina Island, as well as select 14-day Carnival Journeys sailings to Hawaii.
The 101,509-ton vessel, which is the third in the company’s Destiny class, completed 25 years of service for Carnival last August.
