The Seabourn Quest recently completed 15 years of service after being delivered to Seabourn on May 31, 2011.

As the third ship in a series that started with the Seabourn Odyssey in 2008, the vessel was built at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy.

With its delivery taking place earlier than anticipated, the Seabourn Quest offered two pre-inaugural cruises before officially debuting on June 20, 2011.

For its first cruise, the vessel offered a 14-night maiden voyage that sailed from Barcelona, Spain, to Piraeus, Greece.

Before welcoming guests for the itinerary, the ship was christened at a gala ceremony at the Spanish port, which saw actress Blythe Danner serving as godmother.

With its two sister ships sold to Mitsui Ocean Cruises over the past few years, the Seabourn Quest is now the only ship in its class still sailing for Seabourn.

Earlier this year, the ship underwent a major refurbishment in what Seabourn called the most comprehensive interior update in its history.

Highlights of the project included a redesign of the Club, which now features a new layout, a reconfigured bar and new lighting.

Other areas were also updated and modernized, including the Observation Bar, the Atrium, the Colonnade, and the Restaurant.

Through November, the 450-passenger vessel is scheduled to offer itineraries in the Mediterranean, including a series of seven-night itineraries that can be combined into 14- and 21-night voyages.

The cruises sail from ports in Greece, Italy, Turkey and Croatia, including Piraeus, Fusina, Istanbul and Dubrovnik.

In early December, the Seabourn Quest arrives at PortMiami for a series of 12- to 16-night cruises to the Leeward Islands and the Caribbean.

The 32,346-ton ship will also operate Seabourn’s 2027 World Cruise, which sails roundtrip from South Florida.

With an itinerary focused on Australia and the South Pacific, the 145-night cruise is highlighted by visits to 67 destinations across 19 countries
