Seabourn Quest Completes Major Interior Overhaul

The Club Quest

The Seabourn Quest has returned from drydock following what Seabourn says is the most comprehensive interior update in its history.

Now that the ship has been refurbished, it will continue its Mediterranean season through November 2026, the cruise line said in a statement.

The season comprises seven-day voyages, combinable into 14- and 21-day sailings, between Dubrovnik, Fusina (Venice), Istanbul and Athens, calling on yacht harbors and islands in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Turkey.

“This drydock represents an investment that reflects our unwavering focus on elevating every aspect of the guest experience,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn.

“Seabourn Quest has always had a loyal following, and we wanted to enhance the spaces where our guests spend their time on board, from the feel of their suite to the atmosphere of The Club in the evening, to ensure they have the best experience at sea when they sail on this beautiful ship.”

One of the biggest transformations happened at the Club, whose layout was reconfigured, bar redesigned and new lighting added.

Other public areas have been updated for a better flow, while the atrium, corridors and stairways received new carpeting, according to the statement.

Next, a new sound system and lighting were added to the main pool deck, while the Observation Bar was updated with new carpet and furnishings.

The Spa’s reception area was redesigned, gym equipment replaced and the salon updated.

The onboard shops also got a makeover, while the interiors of The Colonnade and The Restaurant have been modernized with additions such as new furniture and carpets.

As for suites, all categories received new mattresses and biodegradable Cradle to Cradle Dansk Wilton wool carpet.

Additionally, veranda furniture was updated in Penthouse and premium suites.

“Our goal was to create spaces that feel natural, intuitive and effortlessly comfortable for guests,” said Linh Nguyen, senior manager, interior design & assets management.

“Rather than referencing a single destination, the design takes a broader approach, using materiality and scale to shape spaces that feel balanced, familiar and easy to experience.”

The renovated ship will operate the cruise line’s 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise, a 120-day voyage which will span over 26,000 nautical miles.
