Royal Caribbean International’s Voyager of the Seas arrived at the Port of Seattle in May for its first season in Alaska.
As part of its summer deployment, the 1999-built ship is now offering a series of seven-night cruises in the region from its new homeport in the Pacific Northwest.
Two different weeklong itineraries are set to be offered through early October, including the “Alaska Experience” voyage.
Sailing roundtrip from Seattle, the cruise features visits to Juneau, Skagway and Sitka, in addition to a call to Victoria in Canada’s British Columbia.
The “Alaska Adventure” cruise operates a similar seven-night itinerary and also includes visits to Juneau, Skagway and Victoria.
Before returning to Seattle, the voyage also includes scenic cruising at Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
Upon completing its maiden season in Alaska, the Voyager of the Seas is scheduled to reposition to the West Coast.
Joining the Ovation of the Seas, the 3,430-passenger ship offers three- to eight-night cruises to the Mexican Riviera and Baja California.
The deployment features visits to Puerto Vallarta, Ensenada, Catalina Island and Mazatlán, as well as overnight calls in Cabo San Lucas.
The Voyager of the Seas is one of the four ships in Royal Caribbean’s fleet that are currently offering itineraries in Alaska.
Two Quantum-class vessels are in the region, the Anthem of the Seas and the Ovation of the Seas, in addition to the Serenade of the Seas, which is part of the Radiance class.
The ships are offering itineraries from Seattle, Vancouver and Seward that sail to destinations including Sitka, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and more.
In 2027, the Voyager returns to Seattle for a second summer season in Alaska, which will also feature the Quantum of the Seas, the Serenade of the Seas and the Anthem of the Seas.
