The Carnival Venezia has arrived in New York City in late May for another summer season sailing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
After spending the winter sailing from Port Canaveral, the vessel returned to the U.S. Northeast for a series of itineraries to Canada, New England, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
For the first sailing of the season, the Carnival Fun Italian Style ship offered a four-night cruise to Canada that featured a visit to Halifax.
The 2019-built ship then embarked on a nine-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean that features visits to four destinations in two countries.
The itinerary is highlighted by visits to two of Carnival’s private islands in the Bahamas: Celebration Key and RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay.
Before returning to New York City, the sailing also features a visit to Grand Turk, in addition to four days at sea.
The deployment is from Manhattan is highlighted by short cruises to Bermuda, including a series of five-night itineraries that feature an overnight call to King’s Wharf.
Extending through early October, the season will be followed by a winter cruise program in Florida and the Caribbean.
The 4,232-passenger ship will offer seven- to 14-night cruises to the Southern, Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral between October 2026 and May 2027.
Repositioning to Miami for the summer in 2027, the Carnival Venezia is not scheduled to return to New York City after 2026.
Currently based on the West Coast on a year-round basis, the Carnival Firenze will take over Venezia’s itineraries from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
As part of its first season in the U.S. Northeast, the 2021-built ship is scheduled to arrive in New York City on May 27, 2027.
The vessel will then offer cruises to a wide range of destinations in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Bermuda and Canada.
