The Norwegian Aqua recently returned to New York City for a second homeporting season in the U.S. Northeast.
After completing a winter schedule sailing from PortMiami, the ship arrived at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
The 2025-built ship is now offering a series of five- to eight-night cruises that include multiple-day calls to Bermuda.
All itineraries feature a visit to the Royal Naval Dockyard, which ranges from two to three days depending on the length of the cruise.
The homeporting season in New York City runs through mid-October, when the Norwegian Aqua is scheduled to return to Miami for the winter.
In addition to the Norwegian Aqua, three other Norwegian ships are scheduled to sail from New York in 2026.
The Norwegian Escape will join the Prima-class vessel in late August, offering itineraries to the Caribbean, as well as Canada and New England.
The ship’s late summer and fall season from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal extends through late September.
Following its summer deployment in Europe, the Norwegian Sun arrives in New York City for a single call in October.
Set to leave Norwegian’s fleet in 2027, the ship visits the port for a turnaround, concluding a trans-Atlantic crossing before embarking on a repositioning voyage to Miami.
In November, the Norwegian Bliss takes over the company’s homeporting operations in New York, offering winter cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
The schedule includes eight-night cruises to Florida and the Bahamas, visiting Port Canaveral and Nassau, as well as Norwegian’s private island destination of Great Stirrup Cay.
Longer itineraries visit destinations in the Eastern Caribbean, such as Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Basseterre in St. Kitts, Philipsburg in St. Maarten and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.
After entering service earlier this year, the Norwegian Luna makes its debut in New York City ahead of the 2027 summer season.
