The MSC Poesia has transited through the Panama Canal during her 18-night Grand Voyage from Miami to Seattle.

The ship sailed through the Caribbean and Central America before this milestone, and is now in the Pacific, MSC said in a press release.

It will now continue north along the coast on the final leg of her journey to Seattle, where her inaugural Alaska season is scheduled to start on May 11, 2026.

After the Alaska season, the ship will reposition to offer roundtrip Caribbean sailings from Miami during winter 2026–27, visiting destinations including Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, Aruba, Curaçao and Belize.

It is then set to return to Alaska for her summer 2027 season.

The ship recently underwent major refurbishment, spending almost two months at the Palumbo Shipyard in Malta.

During this time, the MSC Yacht Club was added and several other spaces, such as the spa and the gym, were modernized.
