MSC Cruises has revealed new details on two districts onboard its newest ship, the MSC World Asia, in a statement.

One of the districts, the Harbour, will be revamped and continue to serve as an outdoor park for families.

The other, the AquaDeck district, is getting a new design for its outdoor Manila Bay pool and the indoor Coral Cove pool.

Reflecting the theme of the ship, the newly revamped Harbour will boast an Asian-inspired design for this space that features a swing ride, a high ropes course, an aquapark, a snack bar and what the cruise line says is the largest dry slide onboard a cruise ship.

A new addition is the Play Deck, an outdoor space combining a seating area with elements for kids, meant to inspire connection.

As part of the ship’s seven total pools and 13 whirlpool baths, the Aqua Deck district will include two redesigned pools.

The main pool area will feature the Manila Bay & Pearl Lagoon Bar, with more shade, refreshed amenities and new bars, MSC said.

The indoor pool with a retractable glass roof – Coral Cove – will have a new design, including a large-scale art installation by artist Elisabetta Milan in the shape of a water droplet, paired with a poolside bar.

Set to debut in the Med in late 2026, the MSC World Asia was floated out in France in November 2025.
