Shipyard: Chantier Naval de Marseille (Marseille, France)

The Celebrity Infinity arrived at the Chantier Naval de Marseille earlier this month to undergo a routine drydock.

As part of its year-round deployment in Europe, the 2001-built ship is set to welcome guests back on Jan. 11, 2026, for a series of cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Costa Toscana

Drydock Period: Jan. 28 to Feb. 15, 2026
Shipyard: Chantier Naval de Marseille (Marseille, France)

With its winter season in the Middle East cancelled in mid-2025, the Costa Toscana is set to undergo a drydock in late January.

Currently sailing in the Western Mediterranean, the LNG-powered ship is expected to spend approximately two weeks at a shipyard in Europe.

As part of its first mandatory drydock, the 5,224-guest vessel is set to undergo maintenance, in addition to technical work and class inspections.

Marella Explorer 2

Drydock Period: Jan. 9 to Feb. 5, 2026
Shipyard: Navantia (Cadiz, Spain)

After entering drydock in early January, the Marella Explorer 2 is set to remain out of service for nearly a month before welcoming guests back on Feb. 5, 2026.

Originally built for Celebrity Cruises as the Century, the 1,814-guest ship completed its 30th year of service in late 2025.

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise

Capacity: 1,300 guests
Tonnage: 53,000
Year built: 1991
Drydock Period: Jan. 7 to Jan. 20, 2026
Shipyard: Grand Bahama Shipyard (Freeport, Bahamas)

The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise is currently undergoing a drydock at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport.

The project includes the addition of a new buffet area, which is said to be designed to offer a modern approach to casual dining.

Ideal
Cruise Line: Tianjin Oriental International Cruise Line
Capacity: 2,720 guests
Tonnage: 103,000
Year built: 2004
Drydock Period: Dec. 24, 2025, to Feb. 15, 2026
Shipyard: Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry (Qingdao, China)

Acquired from Seajets in late 2024, the Ideal is undergoing a conversion project before debuting for Tianjin Oriental International Cruise Line.

Originally built for Costa Cruises, the 2,720-guest ship is expected to undergo significant work ahead of welcoming its first guests in China in mid-February.

Before sailing to the Far East, the former Costa Magica spent over five years out of revenue service in Europe.
