The Caledonian Sky could be set for a new home in late 2025 following her European season with Travelmarvel.

The former Renaissance ship is set for a dry dock and update in April ahead of her summer program in the Mediterranean.

After that, the vessel could be available for a new home, according to Peter S. Shaerf, managing director of AMA Capital Partners, who said interested parties should reach out for more information.

Currently wrapping up a year-long deployment in the South Pacific, the Caledonian Sky is owned by APT Travel Group.

The company acquired the 1991-built vessel in mid-2021 for a series of sailings in Kimberley and other regions of Australia.

Two years later, the Caledonian Sky was chartered to Captain Cook Cruises Fiji for upscale expeditions in Fiji, an island country in Melanesia.

The operation, however, proved to be short-lived as the company announced plans to withdraw from the overnight cruise business in mid-2024.

As a result, the 114-guest ship departed on its final cruise for Captain Cook in late October and is now set to be returned to its owners.

After announcing a charter deal with Seabourn earlier this year, APT decided to move the vessel to its Travelmarvel brand.

During the upcoming summer season, the Caledonian Sky is scheduled to offer 13 itineraries for the company in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.

Focusing on the region’s story and culture, the sailings are said to feature an experienced cruise director and an onboard team, in addition to expert local guides.

The seven- to 14-night itineraries include visits to various destinations in the region, including the Greek Islands, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Adriatic Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Canary Islands, and Madeira.

Originally part of a series of eight ships built for Renaissance Cruises, the Caledonian Sky also sailed for Noble Caledonia and Star Cruises, among other brands.
