Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady is getting ready to make its debut in the United Kingdom. After completing a series of cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean, the vessel is scheduled to arrive in Portsmouth on Aug. 23, 2024.
After departing from Spain earlier this month, the Resilient Lady is currently offering a repositioning cruise to the UK.
Chartered to Atlantis, the ten-night cruise sailed from Barcelona and features visits to Málaga, Cádiz, La Coruña and Bilbao.
Before arriving in Portsmouth, the one-way voyage also includes an overnight call in Lisbon, Portugal, and a stop in Bordeaux, France.
According to Atlantis, the sold-out cruise was created in partnership with Virgin Voyages and offers “spectacular entertainment, thrilling parties and luscious dining.”
Once in the UK, the Resilient Lady kicks off a homeporting season that includes a total of six three- to 13-night itineraries.
For the first sailing of the cruise program, the Resilient Lady sails from Portsmouth on a four-night itinerary to Amsterdam.
In addition to a full day cruising at the North Sea, the itinerary features an overnight visit to the Dutch capital city.
The 2,700-guest ship continues to offer short cruises to the Netherlands and Belgium through the end of the month before adding six-night itineraries to its schedule in September.
Also sailing roundtrip from Portsmouth, the week-long cruises sail to France and Spain, with visits to Le Verdon, Bilbao and La Coruña.
After completing its UK season, the Resilient Lady embarks on a repositioning cruise to Barcelona on September 29, 2024.
The 12-night voyage sails to destinations in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, including Málaga, Ibiza, Lisbon and Casablanca.
Built in 2023, the vessel offers additional itineraries in the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic for a winter season in the Caribbean.
Starting in November, the Resilient Lady offers five- to seven-night cruises to various destinations in the region departing from Miami and Puerto Rico.
