Viking has scheduled a conference call for 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, August 22, 2024.

According to a press release, the call will discuss the company’s second quarter 2024 financial results which will be released before the stock market opens.

The call will be simultaneously webcast on Viking’s investor relations website, https://ir.viking.com. A replay of the webcast will remain available for 30 days following the call.

Since last reporting its financial results in May, Viking confirmed an order for the construction of two new cruise ships at the Fincantieri shipyard.

The new 998-guest vessels are scheduled for deliveries in 2028 and 2029 and bring the company’s orderbook to eight ships with options for two more.

Set to enter service in July 2025, the new Viking Vesta was also floated out at the Fincantieri shipyard during the period.

Viking continues to build river ships as well, confirming plans for the introduction of a new vessel on the Seine River in 2025.
