Crown Princess Cruises Cancelled Due to Maintenance Rescheduling

Crown Princess

Princess Cruises is canceling several cruises onboard the Crown Princess due to the rescheduling of planned drydock maintenance.

According to a statement shared with travel advisors, the cancellations include cruises departing from Australia and Asia between September 26, 2025, and January 12, 2026.

“At times, circumstances and operational considerations arise that require us to make changes to bookings and itineraries,” the company said.

“Unfortunately, due to a change in the scheduled drydock maintenance for the Crown Princess, we are altering a small number of itineraries.”

The ship was scheduled to offer a 27-night Round Australia cruise, as well as repositioning voyages between Sydney and Singapore. A series of three- to 11-night itineraries to the Australian Coast and the South Pacific Islands were also available.

According to Princess, impacted guests and travel advisors are currently being notified of the cancellations.

The company also said that a part of the affected passengers will be moved to replacement voyages that share similar itineraries and lengths.

These passengers will be automatically rebooked in the replacement voyage, receiving up to $300 AUD in credit for air travel changes, and an onboard credit of up to $200 AUD per person for the first two guests on the booking.

Any passenger booked on canceled voyages where a replacement voyage is not available will have their bookings automatically canceled with a refund to their original form of payment, Princess added.

Shore excursions and reservations for onboard services, including dining and wellness appointments, will be canceled and refunded.

“We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding,” the company said.

Replacing the Coral Princess, the Crown Princess is scheduled to sail from Australia on a year-round basis starting in October.

In addition to Sydney, the 2006-built ship is set to offer itineraries departing from Fremantle, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
