Adora Cruises officially released its 2025 cruise schedule during the Shanghai International Cruise Festival, which took place in China last week.
The Chinese brand will have two ships operating year-round out of six Chinese ports.
Nearly 170 sailings will be offered, with itineraries aimed at both domestic travelers and international passengers.
After entering service earlier this year, the Adora Magic City will continue to sail from Shanghai on a year-round basis.
As the first large cruise ship built in China, the 5,246-guest ship is set to offer more than 80 cruises departing from its homeport.
Ranging from four to seven nights in length, the itineraries visit various ports of call in Japan and South Korea.
With the Magic City sailing from Shanghai, the Adora Mediterranea will offer cruises departing from five different homeports.
The schedule of the 2003-built ship includes departures from Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao and Dalian.
Formerly operated by Costa Cruises, the Mediterranea will offer two- to five-night itineraries that visit a wider range of destinations including over ten ports of call in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.
“Adora Cruises will deepen its presence in the Chinese market and launch more cruise routes,” said the company’s CEO Liu Hui in a prepared statement.
“We are committed to integrating the essence of Chinese culture into the brand experience, providing an innovative cultural and tourism experience of ‘cruise + culture’, creating cruise products that better understand the Chinese people,” he added.
Currently under construction in Shanghai, Adora’s third cruise ship is scheduled to be delivered in late 2026.
According to the company, the yet-unnamed vessel will be slightly larger than its sister Adora Magic City boasting capacity for 5,300 guests.
Once in service, the 141,000-ton ship will offer international itineraries from its homeport in Guangzhou Nansha.
