Singapore Cruise Society Rebrands Into CruiseBeyond SG

Cruise Beyond

Singapore Cruise Society is rebranding as CruiseBeyond SG. Launched in 2016, the social media platform has been a key source for cruise guests in Southeast Asia.

Led by content creator Vensen Wong, CruiseBeyond SG now aims to expand its reach by covering cruising globally.

“I’m very excited to introduce the next chapter of our journey, CruiseBeyond SG, where we are not only focused on domestic cruising or cruising in the region, but beyond, from Australian, China, North America,” Wong said, noting that the platform plans to expand beyond cruising as well.

According to Wong, the trajectory of Singapore Cruise Society was influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

When Singapore became the first homeport to resume revenue cruise operations during the health emergency, the platform became a global source for the cruise industry, he said.

“We kept the world updated when the global cruise operations shut down. We were very happy to help restore faith and trust when Quantum of the Seas and World Dream became some of the world’s first cruise ships to resume operations,” he noted.

“It’s thanks to your trust and support all these years that we’ll be able to continue doing what we want to do and what we love to do,” he added in a video announcement.

CruiseBeyond is now gearing up for the arrival of the Disney Adventure, which will debut in Singapore in late 2025.

Currently being built for Disney Cruise Line at the MV Werften shipyard in Germany, the 205,800-ton vessel was specifically designed to cater to the Asian market.

“We are very excited to bring more ships and more content. The future is exciting,” he said, expressing gratitude to the audience, partners, and cruise line representatives.

According to its website, CruiseBeyond SG has reached over 10 million readers since 2020 through organic search.
