Royal Caribbean’s Serenade to Sail from Colombia and Panama in 2025-26

Serenade of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International is returning to Latin America for the 2025-26 winter season with the Serenade of the Seas.

According to a press release, the Radiance-class vessel will offer cruises departing from Cartagena, Colombia and Colón, Panama from October 2025 to April 2026.

Cruising to the Southern Caribbean, the Serenade will operate seven-night itineraries to destinations including Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

“We are very pleased to return to the region with the Serenade of the Seas and fulfill our commitment to continue serving the Latin American market,” said Alberto Muñoz, Royal Caribbean’s Associate Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The region offers an array of destinations to create the best experiences for the whole family and all types of travelers. Serenade will bring an experience designed for the local market, full of flavors, music, and activities that exalt the Latin identity,” he added.

A series of onboard experiences customized for the local market will be announced at a later date, Royal Caribbean stated.

“This product adaptation is part of our mission to create the ideal experience for every type of traveler, both at sea and on land, with excursions and activities in destinations available in multiple languages,” the company added.

Bookings for the new cruises departing from Colombia and Panama opened on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

In late 2023, after a seven-year gap, Royal Caribbean International returned to Latin America with the Rhapsody of the Seas.

During the 2022-23 winter, the 2,000-guest ship offered a season of cruises departing from both Colombia and Panama.

While it won’t be repeated in 2024-25, the Latin American operation was considered a success, Royal Caribbean stated.

The Serenade of the Seas entered service in 2003 and has capacity for roughly 2,150 guests.
