The Allure of the Seas recently repositioned to PortMiami for a series of three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas.
Previously sailing from Port Canaveral, the Royal Caribbean International ship is now offering a week-long cruise before beginning its short cruise program.
The seven-night itinerary sails to the Eastern Caribbean and includes visits to Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, as well as Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Taking over the schedule of the Freedom of the Seas, the Allure of the Seas is set to sail from its new homeport every Friday and Monday.
The program features a series of three-night weekend cruises, as well as four-night sailings during week.
Both sailings feature visits to Nassau and Royal Caribbean’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, while the longer cruises add a day at sea to their itineraries.
The Allure’s season in Miami will run through February 2025, when the vessel is scheduled to reposition to Spain for summer deployment in the Western Mediterranean.
The 2010-built ship is also expected to undergo a major update and modernization project at a drydock in Spain.
Previously offering short cruises from Central Florida, the Allure of the Seas moved to Miami as part of the preparations for the debut of the new Utopia of the Seas.
The recently-delivered vessel is scheduled to offer three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas departing from Port Canaveral.
After leaving the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in June, the ship will embark on its maiden voyage on July 19, 2024.
Both the Allure of the Seas and the Utopia of the Seas are part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class.
With the Allure taking over its short cruise schedule, the Freedom of the Seas will reposition to Fort Lauderdale later this month.
