Plantours has published its new deployment program with sailings scheduled through the spring of 2026, the company announced in a press release.
Operating the Hamburg, the Germany-based cruise line said it is increasing its focus on departures from German ports.
Plantours also stated that the 400-guest vessel is the smallest to sail from Germany and offers cruises that go “beyond mass tourism at sea.”
The newly announced schedule includes itineraries that sail from Hamburg to the Caribbean and Greenland, in addition to a 133-day world cruise.
The deployment is also highlighted by several trips around Cuba, Plantours added, as well as cruises to the Indian Ocean and Northern Europe featuring visits to Sylt and Bornholm.
Taking advantage of its design, the Hamburg is also scheduled to offer expedition-like sailing to Antarctica and Cape Horn via South America and South Africa.
According to Plantours, these special sailings include free landings in remote destinations using the ship’s fleet of Zodiacs.
The deployment also includes a new cruise on the Seine River, which will sail to the capital of France’s Normandy region, Rouen.
Other new itineraries include itineraries to Iceland and Greenland sailing from or to Hamburg during the summer of 2025.
According to Plantours, the new 2025-26 cruise program onboard the Hamburg is already available for booking online and via travel agencies.
The company also said that early bird discounts are being offered for bookings made before the end of November 2024.
Sailing for Plantours since 2012, the Hamburg was formerly operated by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises as the C. Columbus.
The 14,000-ton ship was built at the MTW Schiffswerft in Wismar, Germany, and first entered service in 1997.
Celebrating 35 years in 2024, Plantours recently announced a new logo, as well as a new livery for the Hamburg.
The new colors, which include a blue hull with white and yellow accents, were applied to the ship earlier this year.
