Norwegian Cruise Lines Announces 2026 Spring/Summer Deployment

Norwegian Cruise Line announced its 2026 spring and summer itineraries to the Caribbean, Canada and New England, Bahamas, Bermuda and Alaska.

According to a press release, the new deployment program includes nearly 250 itineraries and includes Norwegian’s return to Philadelphia, as well as the arrival of the Norwegian Breakaway in Boston.

Offering cruises to Bermuda, the 4,000-guest ship will be the largest ever to regularly sail from the homeport for the company.

The season will also be spotlighted by a four-ship season in Alaska that features three of the company’s largest vessels: the Norwegian Encore, the Norwegian Joy and the Norwegian Bliss.

Other highlights of the program include regular short cruises to the Bahamas onboard the Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Prima’s first summer program in the Caribbean.

With an average of ten hours in each port, the deployment includes 30 destinations across the Caribbean, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada and New England, as well as Alaska, Norwegian added.

Bermuda, Canada and New England

Following its first-ever season of voyages to Bermuda from Philadelphia, the Norwegian Jewel is set to offer ten- and 11-day Canada and New England itineraries.

The open-jaw itineraries will be operated after August 2026 and depart from Philadelphia and Québec City with visits to destinations like Saguenay, Charlottetown and Halifax, Canada, in addition to Bar Harbor, Maine and Boston.

Starting in April 2026, the Norwegian Breakaway will become the largest Norwegian vessel to turnarounds in Boston with seven-day Bermuda voyages through November.

Throughout the peak summer season, voyages will feature an overnight stay at the Royal Naval Dockyard and a day in Halifax, Canada.

From late August through mid-October 2026, the ship will sail seven-day Canada and New England itineraries calling at Bar Harbor, Maine, as well as Saint John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Norwegian Aqua will return to New York City for its second Bermuda season, sailing a selection of five- and seven-day itineraries with overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard.

Caribbean and the Bahamas

Citing demand, Norwegian is expanding its short-cruise offering with nearly 40 voyages to the Bahamas from Miami in spring and summer 2026.

The regular three- and four-night sailings take place onboard the Norwegian Getaway and feature visits to Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, the cruise line’s private island in the region.

As of late 2025, the destination will feature a newly constructed multi-ship pier, which Norwegian said will enhance the overall guest experience.

The Norwegian Prima is also set to offer cruises from Florida, with island-hopping itineraries in the Caribbean, the company added.

The 2022-built ship will extend its season in Port Canaveral to offer seven-day sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

The itineraries visit to ports like Montego Bay, Jamaica; George Town, Cayman Islands; and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

For an extended holiday in the region, guests can book back-to-back sailings, creating a 14-day voyage, Norwegian said.

Alaska

Alaska’s 2026 season will commence in late April with voyages through October from Seattle; Whittier, Alaska; and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Guests can enjoy some of the newest ships in the region, Norwegian said, with the Norwegian Encore, the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian Joy offering programs in the Last Frontier.

Sailing from Seattle’s Pier 66, the Norwegian Encore and the Norwegian Bliss will sail seven-day voyages, while the Norwegian Joy will offer longer nine- to ten-day itineraries.

The Norwegian Jade will cruise a series of seven-day open-jaw sailings between Vancouver, British Columbia, and the new-to-Norwegian homeport Whittier, Alaska, with no days at sea.

To also explore the interior of Alaska, passengers will also be able to add an NCL Cruisetour to their reservations, the company added.
