As Carnival Cruise Line reveals its deployment for 2024, Cruise Industry News takes a look at the some of the Carnival Journeys scheduled for the year.
Described by the company as “limited series of special cruises made to amaze,” the sailings feature longer itineraries, usually visiting unusual ports and exotic destinations.
14-Night Alaska Cruise
Ship: Carnival Spirit
Dates: Apr. 23 and Sep. 10, 2024
Length: 14 nights

Complete itinerary: Victoria (Canada); Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, Valdez, Seward and Sitka (United States)
The Carnival Spirit if offering two Carnival Journeys to Alaska in 2024. Sailing from Seattle, the 14-night itineraries visit unusual ports for the company in the region, such as Valdez, Sitka and Seward.
Also calling at popular Alaskan destinations – including Juneau and Ketchikan, the cruises feature scenic cruising at both the Tracy Arm Fjord and the Hubbard Glacier.
Hawaii with Radiance

After debuting in Hawaii in 2022, the Carnival Radiance is offering two Carnival Journeys to the islands in 2024. Departing in October and December, the 14-night cruises include visits to four ports of call in Hawaii: Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Kahului and Hilo.
Sailing from Long Beach, the itinerary also features a total of eight full days at sea, in addition to a short stop at Mexico’s Ensenada.
Greenland with Pride

Dates: May 26, Aug. 18 and Sep. 8, 2024

Itineraries: Nanortalik and Qaqortoq (Greenland); St. Anthony, Corner Brook and Sydney (Canada)
The Carnival Pride is set to offer three 14-night cruises to Greenland and Canada in 2024. With a unique itinerary, the Carnival Journeys sail to a total of five destinations, including Nanortalik, Qaqortoq and Corner Brook.
Before returning to Pride’s homeport in Baltimore, the itinerary also includes visits to Sydney and St. Anthony, an unusual cruise destination in Canada’s Newfoundland region.
Panama Canal from New Orleans
Ship: Carnival Liberty

Complete itinerary: George Town (Cayman Islands); Willemstad (Curaçao); Oranjestad (Aruba); Cartagena de Indias (Colombia); Colón (Panama); Puerto Limón (Costa Rica); and Cozumel (Mexico)
After repositioning to New Orleans earlier in the year, the Carnival Liberty offers a Carnival Journey from its new homeport in December. Cruising to the Southern Caribbean and Central America, the 14-night itinerary is set to visit the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Curaçao, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.
The cruise also features a seven-hour visit to Panama’s Port of Colón, from which guests are able to visit the Panama Canal and the surrounding areas.
14-Night Exotic Caribbean

Sailing roundtrip from Galveston, this 14-night itinerary onboard the Carnival Dream is set to visit eight destinations, including seven different islands in the Eastern Caribbean.
In addition to popular ports of call such as Grand Turk and San Juan, the Carnival Journey also includes calls to ports that are less visited by the brand, including St. Kitts and St. Croix.
