Ambassador Cruise Line Completes Repairs on Ambience

Ambience

After an unscheduled drydock for the Ambience repairs in December 2022, Ambassador Cruise Line announced that the lifeboat station repairs aboard the ship are complete and that load testing is underway.

The Ambience is on schedule to depart from Bremerhaven for London Tilbury on Wednesday, January 4, and will be welcoming guests onboard the following day ahead of the Treasures of the Caribbean voyage, the company said in a statement.

After a safety issue was discovered, the ship was sent for repairs to Germany on December 19 as they could not be completed at the Port of Tilbury. Due to the emergency, the cruise line canceled its three-day Festive Market Getaway sailing aboard the Ambience that was set to sail on December 18 as well as the subsequent Christmas and New Year Canary Islands cruise which was scheduled to depart on December 21.

The Ambience will depart from London on January 5 and will sail for 42 nights visiting Porto, Portugal; Funchal, Madeira; Mindelo, Cape Verde; Bridgetown, Barbados; St. Georges, Grenada; St Vincent, St Vincent and the Grenadines; Montego Bay, Jamaica and Santiago de Cuba, Cuba among many other destinations.
