Costa Cruises has signed a 10-year partnership with Central Romana Corporation for fly & cruise services to and from La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
The agreement was signed at an industry event in London, in the presence of the Dominican Republic’s Minister of Tourism, David Collado.
Central Romana Corporation also signed a 10-year fly & cruise deal with AIDA Cruises, as reported earlier by Cruise Industry News.
“This agreement gives our many years of cooperation with La Romana a stable framework for the next decade,” said Daniel Caprile, pricing & revenue management, itinerary & transportation vice president at Costa Cruises.
“Long-term planning helps us coordinate ships, flights and services ashore more effectively, for the benefit of our guests and travel partners. This way, a Costa holiday in the Caribbean truly begins the moment guests land in La Romana.”
Costa described the Caribbean as one of the highlights of its winter season.
In 2026-27, the Costa Fascinosa operates two one-week itineraries, which guests can also combine into a two-week holiday, from La Romana:
- “Antilles Collection”: Barbados, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guadeloupe and Tortola.
- “Caribbean Heart”: Catalina Island, Cabo Rojo, Samaná and Turks & Caicos.
The experience also includes Costa’s exclusive Sea Destinations, such as Caribbean Sea Darkest Spot, Guadeloupe Bay and Catalina Bay.
