The Queen Victoria recently kicked off a repositioning voyage back to Southampton after completing a summer deployment in the Mediterranean.
Sailing from Civitavecchia, the 16-night cruise features visits to destinations in Spain and Portugal before arriving in the United Kingdom.
Among the ports of call included in the itinerary are Palma de Mallorca, Cartagena, Málaga, Lisbon and La Coruña.
The Queen Victoria will then offer fall and winter cruises sailing roundtrip from Cunard’s homeport in Southampton.
The schedule includes a series of itineraries to Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula and Morocco.
The Queen Victoria will also operate the company’s annual world cruise, which will depart from Southampton in early January.
Visiting the Caribbean, North America, Hawaii, Australia, Asia and Africa, the 111-night itinerary will be the longest offered by Cunard during the 2026-27 winter season.
With the Queen Elizabeth taking over the brand’s fly-cruise program in the Mediterranean next year, the Queen Victoria will continue to sail from Southampton after the world cruise.
Between May and December, the ship will offer three- to 16-night cruises to a range of destinations in Europe, the Atlantic and North Africa.
Before kicking off its fall and winter season, the Queen Victoria is scheduled to undergo a refurbishment in drydock in the Netherlands.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the 2007-built ship will introduce refreshed signature spaces, as well as new features.
The 19-day project includes the addition of The Pavillion Wellness Café and enhancements to Cunard Grills suites.
Spaces such as the Grand Lobby and the Queens Room will be revitalized, while eight additional Britannia staterooms will also be added.
In related news, Carnival Corporation recently announced plans to transfer the Queen Anne out of the Cunard fleet.
As part of a broader fleet reorganization plan, the 2024-built ship will be operated by P&O Cruises starting in 2029.
