The Orient Express Corinthian arrived in Bridgetown, Barbados, for its winter season in the Caribbean following a transatlantic journey from Lisbon via Ponta Delgada.
Called “Ocean Rebirth,” the 14-night journey focused on wellness and regeneration in collaboration with Guerlain, according to a press release.
After its inaugural Mediterranean season, the ship will now operate itineraries across the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the United States from October 2026 through spring 2027.
Offering short escapes and longer passages, the ship will visit destinations including the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Saint Martin, Saint-Barth, Barbuda, Antigua, Barbados and Puerto Rico.
In January 2027, a five-night voyage from Marigot, Saint-Martin, to San Juan, Puerto Rico, will explore the Leeward Islands, with stops in St. Kitts and Nevis, Falmouth Bay in Antigua and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.
In spring 2027, the ship will cross the Atlantic back to Europe, sailing from Lisbon and the Iberian Peninsula towards the Mediterranean and Adriatic.
As part of its second summer season, the ship will offer the brand’s first itineraries in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The OE Corinthian is the first vessel in the fleet of Orient Express, described as the world’s largest sailing ship, featuring a tiltable sails system.
Built at the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the 30,000-ton vessel sailed its maiden voyage in early May.
