Margaritaville at Sea has unveiled 30 itineraries visiting 25 destinations, including two new-to-brand ports of call and a collection of specialty sailings and holiday escapes.
“We’ve built our 2028 lineup around the idea that no two escapes have to look the same,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea.
The company said in a press release that for the first time, Margaritaville at Sea will call on Limon, Costa Rica and Colon, Panama, with the Islander visiting both destinations on new eight-night voyages from Tampa.
The itineraries also include a call in Grand Cayman and four days at sea. The 2028 lineup also includes Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Belize, Roatán, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Bimini, Nassau and Progreso.
2028 sailings include the following:
- Following its first-ever Mardi Gras visit in 2027, the Islander will return to New Orleans for the 2028 celebration with an overnight stay in the Crescent City. The sailing brings together one of New Orleans’ most celebrated traditions from Tampa.
- Back for its third year, the Islander’s signature Halloween voyage takes a new turn in 2028 with an overnight stay in New Orleans.
- In 2028, Margaritaville at Sea will offer Tampa a cruise visiting Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
- The Beachcomber will expand the possibilities from Galveston with new itinerary combinations, including a Mexico trio featuring Cozumel, Progreso and Veracruz.
- The Islander will offer a special five-night sailing to Key West and Bimini departing June 25, 2028.
- The 2028 calendar allows guests to sail into St. Patrick’s Day in Key West, turn Mother’s Day into a five-day getaway to Key West and Cozumel, wake up somewhere warmer for Memorial Day and Father’s Day, or kick off a Fourth of July escape sailing from Tampa, and
- Margaritaville at Sea will offer additional music-focused specialty sailings featuring chart-topping artists and exclusive performances at sea.
The press release added that, following its 2027 debut from PortMiami and subsequent move to Galveston, the Beachcomber will continue expanding Margaritaville at Sea’s reach in 2028 with a lineup of Caribbean and Latin American destinations.
The Islander will offer an expanded 2028 lineup with voyages spanning the Southern Caribbean and Central America alongside one-of-a-kind event and holiday sailings.
The new 2028 itineraries are now on sale, and full itineraries are available for viewing on the company’s website.
