The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will return to its homeport in West Palm Beach later than scheduled due to adverse weather conditions.
According to a statement issued by Margaritaville at Sea, the 1991-built ship will not be able to return to the Port of Palm Beach on Tuesday, October 27, as scheduled.
The company said that the decision follows advice from the local port authorities, noting that the Paradise is now expected to arrive on Wednesday, October 28, weather permitting.
“We know this change may affect your travel plans, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,” Margaritaville at Sea added.
“The safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding,” Margaritaville at Sea continued.
The company added that any applicable refunds or credits are based on the information currently available and may be adjusted if weather conditions, the itinerary or port guidance change.
Passengers who pre-purchased a package priced per day, such as a beverage or Wi-Fi package, will receive a prorated refund as refund credit to their stateroom accounts.
Refund credit has cash value and can be applied to service charges or gratuities, with any unused balance refunded to guests’ original form of payment.
Margaritaville at Sea will also issue a $50 Future Cruise Credit toward a future cruise with the brand as a gesture of goodwill.
The company said that guests set to join the Paradise on October 27, 2026, may also rebook the cruise with no fees by calling 1.800.814.7100.
Sailing from West Palm Beach, the ship is scheduled to offer a three-night cruise to the Bahamas. In addition to a day at sea, the cruise includes a visit to Nassau before returning to Florida.
In related news, Margaritaville at Sea is currently preparing the Beachcomber for its maiden cruise, which is scheduled for early 2027.
After joining the company’s fleet, the vessel started a conversion project at the Harland & Wolff shipyard earlier this year.
