The Disney Dream returned to Fort Lauderdale in late September to kick off a winter season cruising to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Having completed a summer deployment in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, the vessel is now sailing from Port Everglades along with the Disney Destiny for a series of three- to seven-night cruises.
The itineraries are highlighted by visits to Disney’s private destinations in the Bahamas: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The ship is also scheduled to visit Nassau, in addition to ports of call in the Eastern Caribbean, such as Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and Philipsburg in St. Maarten.
Starting in April, the Disney Dream will offer cruises from San Juan, Puerto Rico, before repositioning to Port Canaveral for the summer of 2027.
Joining the Disney Treasure and the Disney Fantasy in Central Florida, the 2011-built ship is set to offer three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas.
Before returning to Fort Lauderdale for the 2026-27 winter, the Disney Dream operated the company’s summer itineraries in Europe between May and September 2026.
The season initially included cruises in the Mediterranean, visiting destinations in the Greek Islands, Spain and Italy.
The 2,500-passenger vessel later repositioned to Northern Europe for sailings from the British Port of Southampton.
Sailing to the North and Baltic Seas, the itineraries featured ports of call in Scandinavia, the British Isles, Western Europe and more.
With the Disney Dream now sailing year-round to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, the Disney Wish is scheduled to operate the company’s cruises in Europe in 2027.
The 2022-built ship will make its debut in the region, offering three- to ten-night cruises from England, Italy and Spain.
In related news, Disney recently revealed further details of its upcoming newbuild, the Disney Believe, which will sail from Fort Lauderdale starting in December 2027.
