Costa Cruises has announced its return to Sanremo, Italy, with its “Music Cruise” for the 2027 Sanremo Music Festival, Italy’s annual song competition.

The festival takes place each February at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, on the Italian Riviera. It is recognized as the world’s longest-running annual national television music competition, and the 2027 festival marks its 77th edition.

The company said that guests can experience the festival from the sea on the Costa Toscana, which will take center stage in the Ligurian city’s bay during festival week.

In a press release, Costa said that the Toscana will play a starring role during festival week with two mini-cruises. Bookings are now open.

While the first departure is fully booked, space remains on the February 17-21, 2027, itinerary. According to the release, this cruise is ideal for travelers who want to experience the festival’s final nights and most anticipated moments.

Costa Cruises said guests can soak up Sanremo’s energy from a unique vantage point onboard, between the sea and the city. Beyond onboard activities, guests can explore the city and surrounding area.

Costa added that this year’s program will feature new additions and surprises to be announced in the coming months.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the ship continues to sail in the Western Mediterranean through November 2027 as part of its year-round schedule in Europe.
