The Carnival Venezia has received funnel colors ahead of its winter season sailing from Port Canaveral, according to Carnival’s Brand Ambassador John Heald.
In a social media update, Heald showed off the ship’s new livery, which now sports traditional Carnival Cruise Line colors.
Along with the Carnival Firenze, the Venezia was one of two ships in the company’s fleet that featured a slightly modified livery as part of the “Carnival Fun Italian Style” concept.
Originally built for Costa Cruises, the vessels kept the traditional funnel colors of the Italian brand and introduced a blue hull with a yellow stripe.
Carnival said at the time that the livery served as a nod to the ships’ Costa roots while differentiating their unique Italian design.
While the ship’s funnel now sports Carnival’s traditional colors, the company did not announce plans to change or discontinue the “Fun Italian Style” concept.
Introduced in 2023, the product offers Carnival’s signature experiences and service onboard vessels inspired by famous cities in Italy.
The vessels also offer Italian-themed experiences and twists to the company’s trademark venues, including unique options such as an expanded menu for Guy’s Burger Joint and a party inspired by the carnival in Venice and its masks.
Having completed another summer season in Bermuda, the Carnival Venezia is currently offering cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas departing from Port Canaveral.
As part of its winter season, the 2019-built ship is set to offer a series of seven- to 14-night itineraries highlighted by visits to destinations in the Southern Caribbean, including Aruba and Bonaire.
The “Fun Italian Style” concept will be expanded to more destinations in 2027, with the Carnival Firenze and the Carnival Venezia sailing from additional homeports.
Currently sailing from Long Beach, the Firenze will offer itineraries in South America for the first time before repositioning to Miami and New York City.
The Venezia will continue to sail from Port Canaveral through mid-May, when it is scheduled to kick off a year-round schedule in Miami.
