Scenic Group has announced its 2027 President’s Cruise, an exclusive eight-day sailing through France hosted by Ken Muskat, president, USA and LATAM, Scenic Group.
Departing August 14, 2027, the edition of “Sensations of the Seine & Normandy” will sail roundtrip from Paris aboard the Emerald Lumi, which is purpose-built for sailing France’s Seine River.
The company said in a press release that the cruise will offer guests the opportunity to explore northern France while enjoying curated experiences and special access throughout the sailing.
“River cruising has always been about creating a deeper connection to the destinations we visit, and the President’s Cruise gives us an opportunity to make that experience even more personal,” said Muskat.
“I’m especially excited to host this journey aboard the Emerald Lumi, our brand-new ship for 2027, and spend time with our guests as we experience one of France’s most fascinating regions together,” Muskat added.
The itinerary travels through the historic and cultural heart of Normandy, taking guests from Paris to Vernon, Rouen, Honfleur, Les Andelys and La Roche-Guyon before returning to the French capital.
Highlights include:
- Exploring the artistic legacy of Claude Monet
- Discovering medieval Rouen
- Experiencing Honfleur, and
- Visiting Normandy’s historic D-Day landing sites.
The company stated that this sailing also showcases a more active and immersive approach to river cruising.
Included experiences range from cultural and historical touring to EmeraldACTIVE options, while opportunities to explore the region’s culinary traditions, landscapes and local communities bring guests closer to the destination, Scenic said.
The “2027 Sensations of the Seine & Normandy” with President Ken Muskat departs Paris on August 14, 2027, and returns on August 21.
Fares for the departure currently start from $3,936 per person, with applicable offers and terms subject to change.
Recent milestones include the launch of luxury yacht Emerald Kaia in the Mediterranean and river ship Emerald Astra.
The Emerald Star‑Ship is planned for Northern France, alongside the Emerald Raiya launching in 2027 and Emerald Xara, which is set to sail in Asia and the Kimberley’s from 2028.
By 2028, the Emerald Cruises fleet will comprise 11 river ships and five luxury yachts.
