Emerald Cruises & Tours has introduced an exclusive Rhône River sailing designed for Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking guests.

Departing April 3, 2027, “Emerald Culturas: Sensations of Lyon & Provence” showcases southern France, with a focus on Roman history, medieval villages, vineyards and gastronomy.

“Latin America continues to be one of our fastest-growing markets, and we are proud to introduce a sailing designed specifically with these guests in mind,” said Ken Muskat, president of Scenic Group USA & LATAM.

“Travel is at its best when guests feel connected to the destination and completely at ease throughout their journey,” added Muskat.

“By offering Spanish and Portuguese-speaking onboard support alongside Emerald Cruises’ signature service and immersive experiences, we are creating an even more welcoming and meaningful way for our Latin American guests to discover one of Europe’s most iconic river cruise itineraries,” said Flavio Policarpo, who oversees LATAM as Scenic Group’s regional sales director.

The eight-day itinerary begins in Arles before sailing through Avignon, Viviers, Tournon, Vienne and Lyon.

  • Included experiences include:
  • Guided walking tours and wine tastings
  • An exclusive Provençal dinner hosted by chef Fabien Morreale
