The Sapphire Princess is on its way to Boston to kick off its fall season in Canada and New England.

Having concluded its summer deployment in Northern Europe, the Princess Cruises ship embarked on a repositioning voyage to North America on August 19, 2026.

The 15-night cruise departed from Copenhagen and includes visits to destinations in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Canada.

Highlights of the itinerary included calls at the Isle of Lewis and the Shetland Islands, as well as Belfast, Liverpool and Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The Sapphire Princess is now scheduled to arrive in Boston on September 3, 2026, to start a series of 10-night cruises on North America’s East Coast.

Sailing between Boston and Quebec City, the open-jaw itineraries feature visits to Canada and New England and are highlighted by overnight calls at Charlottetown and Quebec City.

Other calls include Saguenay, Sydney, Halifax, Portland and Saint John.

The season runs through late October and also includes a 14-night repositioning voyage to Fort Lauderdale.

Departing Quebec City, the “Canada & Colonial America” itinerary visits eight destinations in the region, such as New York, Newport and Nassau.

The ship also offers a Panama Canal cruise before repositioning to the Far East and Southeast Asia.

The 16-night cruise sails from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles, visiting ports in the Caribbean and Central America.

Starting in 2027, the Sapphire Princess is scheduled to sail the Pacific year-round, offering itineraries from Singapore and Japan before repositioning to Australia.

The 2,600-passenger vessel will also mark Princess’ return to Fremantle during the 2027-28 season, with nine cruises departing from the port in Western Australia.

The four- to 14-night cruises feature visits to destinations in the region, including Margaret River, Exmouth and Broome, as well as ports in Indonesia, such as Bali and Lombok.
