Riviera Travel River Cruises has opened sales for its 2028  itineraries, covering departures across the Danube, Douro, Rhine, Moselle, Main, Rhône, Seine, Dutch and Mekong waterways.

This includes sailings aboard the new Riviera Rhapsody, which will debut in April 2028 on the Dutch Waterways and Rhine River.

In parallel, the company announced the launch of the “The Riviera Moment” collection of exclusive new experiences.

These are available on four best-selling itineraries, the company said in a press release.

The events offer exclusive access to venues, private performances, expert-led encounters and celebrations that bring travelers closer to the history, artistry and traditions of each destination.

“The Riviera Moment reflects everything our guests value the most about travel: authentic cultural connections, unique access, and unforgettable experiences that can’t be replicated,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel River Cruises.

Private access to the House of Strauss

Guests on “The Blue Danube River Cruise” can enjoy private access to the House of Strauss in Vienna.

The evening begins with welcome drinks before an exclusive classical concert is performed in the historic Strauss Hall, followed by time to explore the Strauss Museum.

Exclusive visit to Kloster Eberbach

Guests sailing aboard the “Rhine Cruise to Switzerland” itinerary will discover Germany’s wine country during an exclusive visit to the Kloster Eberbach monastery and winery.

Following a sparkling wine reception, guests will have a private tour of the historic abbey and taste regional wines before enjoying a private concert in the Romanesque Basilica.

Those sailing on the “Burgundy, the River Rhône and Provence River Cruise” will experience an exclusive reception and concert in a private villa set amid the vineyards of Tain-I’Hermitage.
