Princess Cruises is giving its Captain’s Circle Elite members a chance to win a spot on its floral float in Rose Parade in 2027.
The 138th edition of the event will take place on January 1, 2027, in Pasadena, California, with Princess returning for a second consecutive year.
Four winners will each receive a trip for two and the opportunity to “sail” down Colorado Boulevard on Princess’ float.
“Princess guests have been at the heart of our story for more than 60 years, and many have shared incredible moments with us across decades of travel,” said Marie Lee, Princess Cruises chief marketing officer.
“As we celebrate the Rose Parade theme of ‘Welcome,’ we can’t think of a more meaningful way to bring it to life than by inviting some of our most loyal guests to share the Princess stories they treasure most – and welcoming four of them aboard our float on New Year’s Day.”
To enter the contest, eligible Captain’s Circle Elite members need to submit a 300- to 500-word essay that celebrates the memories, connections and destinations that have made Princess part of their story.
Entries are open until September 22, 2026, and the winners will be selected by October 6.
The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and have completed 15 cruises, or 150 cruise days, with the cruise line as of the start of the contest.
