The Aurora recently sailed from Southampton to kick off a month-long cruise to Southern Europe and Egypt.

Sailing roundtrip from P&O Cruises’ homeport in the United Kingdom, the 24-night “Grand Mediterranean” itinerary will feature visits to 11 destinations.

Spanning different parts of the Mediterranean and Africa, the itinerary sails to Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, as well as Tunisia and Egypt.

After departing from Southampton, the 76,000-ton ship visited Cadiz, Palermo and Malta, with additional stops in Piraeus, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Limassol and Alexandria planned through late September.

On its way back to the UK, the 1,800-passenger vessel is also scheduled to sail to Tunis, Cartagena and Gibraltar.

The Aurora will then return to Southampton on October 8, 2026, for additional cruises to destinations in Northern Europe and the Atlantic.

Through the end of the year, the vessel’s schedule includes four- to 14-night itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords, Iberia, Africa and Madeira Island.

In early 2027, the Aurora is also scheduled to sail from Southampton for a 75-night cruise to the United States and the Caribbean.

As the longest cruise being operated by the vessel next year, the itinerary features visits to approximately 35 destinations.

Highlights of the itinerary include a partial transit of the Panama Canal, as well as calls to Miami and Port Canaveral.

The Aurora will also make overnight visits to Galveston and New Orleans.

The “America and Caribbean Discovery” voyage will sail to a range of destinations in the Caribbean, including Bonaire, Curaçao, Grenada, St. Vincent, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and more.

In addition to the 75-night itinerary onboard the Aurora, P&O is also offering a world voyage onboard the Arcadia in early 2027.

The 106-night cruise will circumnavigate the globe, visiting the Caribbean, North America, the Pacific, Australia, Asia, Africa and more.
