A series of cruise ships is currently available for new cruise operations, according to data from the new Secondhand Market Report from Cruise Industry News.

The list includes the World Odyssey, which is looking for a summer operator.

After completing a final deployment for Phoenix Reisen earlier this year, the former Deutschland is believed to be available for seasonal charters starting in 2027.

Another ship that might be available after completing a long-term charter deal is Majestic International’s Ocean Majesty.

The 1966-built vessel is currently serving as floating accommodation for asylum seekers in the Netherlands, with a contract that is set to expire this year.

Three ships are also currently laid up in China, including the former AIDAvita and the former Olympia Explorer.

The vessels were part of the fleet of Blue Dream Cruises, which ceased operations earlier this year.

Both are believed to be in operational condition, with the 1,218-passenger Blue Dream Melody laid up in Beihai and the 836-guest Blue Dream Star laid up near Zhoushan.

A third vessel, the Chinese Taishan, is also available for sale after its operator ceased cruise operations.

As reported by Cruise Industry News, the former Costa Voyager was publicly listed for a second time earlier this year, with an asking price of $23 million.

Niche operators will find a series of ship options among the former fleet of Alaskan Dream Cruises, which discontinued its cruise service earlier this year.

The company operated a fleet of four U.S.-flagged boutique vessels, including the 76-passenger Chichagof Dream and the 40-guest Alaskan Dream. Built between 1979 and 1984, the four ships are currently laid up in Sitka, Alaska.

The new Secondhand Market Report from Cruise Industry News also includes data on additional vessels currently sitting in limbo, including the Seajets fleet, the Janssonius and the Aegean Odyssey.
