MSC Cruises has wrapped up its first Alaska season, with the MSC Poesia completing its final sailing in the region on September 28, 2026.

Marking the company’s first regular deployment in the region, the Musica-class ship arrived in Seattle in early May.

Fresh from a refit in Europe, the ship then began a series of seven-night cruises to Alaska and British Columbia.

The itineraries featured scenic cruising in Endicott Arm, along with calls at Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Victoria and Icy Strait Point.

Following its final Alaska sailing, the MSC Poesia then set off on a repositioning voyage to the Caribbean.

The 19-night cruise from Seattle to Miami visits California, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia.

Before transiting the Panama Canal, the 2,550-guest ship is scheduled to call at Los Angeles, San Diego, Cabo San Lucas and Puntarenas, followed by Colón and Cartagena de Indias on the Caribbean side.

During the 2026-27 season, the vessel is scheduled to offer a series of five- to 11-night cruises from Miami.

The itineraries cover the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean, with calls at islands such as Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

Other ports of call include Puerto Limón in Costa Rica, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Montego Bay in Jamaica.

The winter season ends in early April with an 18-night repositioning voyage to the West Coast via the Panama Canal.

The MSC Poesia is scheduled to return to Alaska for a second season in 2027, which will be followed by another deployment in the region in 2028.

Between Alaska seasons, the 2008-built ship will continue to sail Caribbean itineraries from PortMiami.
