The Carnival Legend is currently operating a repositioning voyage to Civitavecchia ahead of a series of cruises to the Mediterranean that sail from the port near Rome.

Having completed a summer deployment in Northern Europe, the vessel began the 12-night cruise in Dover in late August.

Sailing to destinations in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy, the open-jaw cruise is highlighted by visits to Le Havre, Lisbon and Málaga.

Upon arriving in Civitavecchia, the Carnival Legend will offer nine- to 12-night cruises to the Greek Islands, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey.

The cruises feature visits to a wide range of destinations in the region, such as Mykonos, Kavala, Corfu, Naples, Dubrovnik and Kusadasi.

Other highlights of the itinerary include 13-hour visits to Istanbul, as well as scenic cruising in Montenegro.

The Spirit-class ship is scheduled to offer five cruises in the Mediterranean before kicking off a repositioning voyage to North America in early November.

Visiting Spain, the United Kingdom and Bermuda, the 15-night trans-Atlantic cruise sails from Civitavecchia to Tampa.

The Carnival Legend will start its winter season in mid-November, offering five- to eight-night cruises in the Caribbean.

Sailing from Tampa, the cruises sail to destinations in Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Belize and Jamaica, such as Cozumel, George Town, Belize City and Montego Bay.

In April 2027, the ship repositions to the West Coast for a summer season sailing to Alaska and Canada.

Before repositioning to the Mediterranean, the 2002-built vessel offered itineraries in Northern Europe, with a series of departures from Dover, England.

Carnival will double its presence in Europe in 2027, with two ships sailing in the continent for the summer.

The Carnival Sunshine will be joining the Carnival Miracle for itineraries in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and North Africa.

The season will also mark the company’s first visits to destinations in Morocco and Tunisia, including Tangier and Tunis.
