Royal Caribbean will resume year-round operations in Singapore in October with the arrival of the Navigator of the Seas.
Originally scheduled to offer a winter season in Southeast Asia, the Voyager-class ship will now remain based at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre through October 2028.
The recently announced deployment move will mark the first time Royal Caribbean has offered summer cruises in Southeast Asia since 2023.
Before being redeployed to the region, the Navigator of the Seas was scheduled to operate West Coast itineraries from Los Angeles.
As part of its new summer season schedule, the ship is scheduled to offer three- to 12-night cruises from Singapore to a range of destinations in the region.
The itineraries will visit ports in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, with longer cruises also sailing to ports in Japan and China.
Royal Caribbean has been operating seasonally in Singapore for the past few years, with vessels mostly offering short cruises from the port in the winter.
The company’s latest year-round schedule at the port was operated by the Spectrum of the Seas and ended in April 2024.
At the time, the Quantum-class ship repositioned to China, ending a two-year deployment in Southeast Asia.
In addition to moving the Navigator to Singapore for the summer, Royal Caribbean announced plans to further expand its capacity in Asia with the Voyager of the Seas.
Originally set to spend the 2027-28 season sailing exclusively from Australia, the vessel is now scheduled to offer more varied itineraries in the South Pacific, Southeast Asia and the Far East.
With the Voyager redeployed, Royal Caribbean is also sending the Ovation of the Seas to sail from Australia in 2027-28.
Previously scheduled for a winter season on the West Coast, the ship will join the Anthem of the Seas in Australia, offering itineraries from Brisbane.
