The Norwegian Spirit will spend the summer of 2028 offering itineraries in the South Pacific, Hawaii and French Polynesia.

According to Norwegian Cruise Line, the vessel will offer 11- to 13-night cruises in the region between April and October 2028.

In a recent press release, the company said the ship’s itineraries were designed to connect “some of the region’s most captivating destinations with distinct embarkation and disembarkation ports.”

The cruises will sail from Australia, Fiji, Hawaii and Tahiti, with departures from Sydney, Lautoka, Honolulu and Papeete.

Norwegian said guests will experience “a mix of vibrant cultures, volcanic landscapes, turquoise lagoons and relaxing days at sea” while visiting Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Apia and Hawaii.

The itineraries will also include visits to New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa and the Cook Islands.

Before arriving in the region, the Norwegian Spirit is scheduled to spend the 2027-28 winter season sailing in Australia and New Zealand.

Norwegian’s deployment for the summer of 2028 also includes itineraries in Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska and Bermuda.

In North America, the season will mark the debut of the Norwegian Gem in Philadelphia, as well as the company’s first year-round schedule in Galveston.

European deployment includes itineraries to the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, Iceland, Scandinavia, the North Sea and the Greek Isles onboard seven vessels.

Four vessels are scheduled to sail in Alaska: the Norwegian Joy, the Norwegian Bliss, the Norwegian Encore and the Norwegian Jade.

The company said the overall cruise program is highlighted by longer port stays, with vessels spending nearly 80 percent of each voyage in port.

Sailing to nearly 150 destinations across 51 countries, the season also offers 175 overnight stays and late departures.
