The Norwegian Escape arrived in New York City recently to kick off a fall season sailing from the U.S. Northeast.

Having completed a series of summer cruises from Port Canaveral, the Norwegian Cruise Line vessel docked at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal on August 19, 2026.

For its first sailing from New York, the 2015-built ship is offering a 10-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.

The itinerary is highlighted by visits to San Juan in Puerto Rico, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.

Before returning to its homeport, the Norwegian Escape is also scheduled to sail to Philipsburg, St. Maarten.

The 4,200-passenger ship will continue to sail from New York through late September, offering weeklong cruises to Canada and New England.

The seven-night cruises visit a range of destinations in the region, including Sydney, Halifax, Portland, Boston and Newport.

Concluding the season, the vessel is also scheduled to offer a trans-Atlantic crossing departing from Manhattan.

The 16-night cruise will feature visits to destinations in Canada, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Spain before arriving in Barcelona.

Ports of call include Halifax, Ponta Delgada, Gibraltar, Melilla, Motril and Palma de Mallorca.

In addition to the Norwegian Escape, the Norwegian Aqua is currently offering itineraries departing from New York City.

Spending the summer in the Northeast, the Prima-class vessel is operating five- to seven-night cruises to Bermuda.

In November, the Norwegian Bliss will take over the company’s New York operations, offering winter cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

The Breakaway Plus-class ship will continue to sail from the homeport through early April 2027.

For the upcoming summer season, Norwegian is promoting the debut of the Norwegian Luna in the Northeast.

After entering service earlier this year, the 156,300-ton vessel will offer four- to seven-night itineraries to Bermuda.
