The Disney Dream recently arrived at the Port of Southampton for a homeporting season departing from the United Kingdom.

Part of the ship’s summer deployment, the cruise program features a series of three- to seven-night itineraries to Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

For its first cruise in the region, the 2011-built vessel is offering a seven-night itinerary to the Norwegian Fjords and the Netherlands.

Sailing roundtrip from Southampton, the cruise is highlighted by visits to Maloy, Alesund and Bergen, as well as a stop in Rotterdam.

Before returning to Northern Europe in September, the Disney Dream is scheduled to offer similar itineraries to Norway, in addition to short cruises to the North Sea.

The three- and four-night itineraries feature stops in a range of destinations, including Bilbao in Spain and Zeebrugge in Belgium.

Other highlights of the vessel’s deployment include a seven-night cruise to the British Isles in early September.

The voyage sails to four ports in England, Scotland and Ireland, visiting Liverpool, Greenock, Cork and Portland.

In mid-September, the 2,500-passenger vessel kicks off a 13-night repositioning voyage back to North America.

The trans-Atlantic crossing sails to destinations in Spain and Portugal before arriving in Fort Lauderdale, from where the ship is scheduled to sail this winter.

Before arriving in Southampton, the Disney Dream offered cruises to the Mediterranean and the Greek Islands.

The schedule in the region came to an end in late July, with a seven-night repositioning voyage to Northern Europe.

Sailing from Barcelona, the open-jaw itinerary included visits to additional destinations, such as Cartagena, Málaga, Vigo and La Coruña.

With the Dream repositioning to Port Canaveral next April, the Disney Wish is scheduled to make its debut in Europe for the summer of 2027.

In addition to itineraries in the Mediterranean between May and July, the 2022-built vessel is set to operate cruises departing from Southampton from July to September.
